Kahoot! is looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team, focusing on business development and sales in the K12 and Higher Ed school market. With a large portion of K12 schools and Higher Ed institutions in ANZ already using Kahoot, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and transforming learning for even more schools.
This position is based in Melbourne, Australia.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in K12 and/or Higher Education sales, particularly with SaaS or similar EdTech products.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and market dynamics within the education space.
  • Experience using Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and/or other similar tools.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively in a distributed, international setting.
  • Nice to have: experience as a teacher

Responsibilities:

As one of our first K!rew members in Australia, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify and convert K12 and Higher Ed sales opportunities in order to meet revenue targets, both inbound and outbound.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Proactively seek new opportunities in the education space, forming relationships with District Administrators such as CIOs, CAOs, CTOs, and Superintendents.
  • Create the right pipeline mix of short and long sales cycle customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Implement sales processes to drive predictable revenue.
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to consistently exceed targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Kahoot! products, customers needs, and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Support, Product, and other teams to share customer insights and drive success.
  • As we’re still a small team in Australia, team members must be open to other duties that support our growth and our community.
  • Represent Kahoot at EdTech conferences in ANZ.
