The Health Education team is a specialist division focusing on medical education. We work across a diverse range of therapeutic areas including vaccines and infectious diseases, women’s health, transplant, multiple sclerosis, nephrology, rheumatology, dermatology and rare diseases. Our programmes span the spectrum from pre- to post-launch, and we work on global, region Europe and UK accounts. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- A minimum of a BSc, masters and/or ideally a PhD in the sciences
- Previous experience in a medical communications agency
- Good communicator and coordinator
- Professionalism and client focus
- Detail-oriented
- Systematic and logical approach to planning
- Computer literate with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
The account executive plays a key role in contributing to and supporting the account teams, ensuring the team can deliver to meet the client needs. The account executive will play an important role in the provision of effective and efficient organisation and implementation of the tactical programme with all its components. In addition to supporting with client deliverables, the account executive will begin to develop their all-round project management and communication skills, gaining a broad understanding of key medical education programmes and gaining access to a host of activities with a range of responsibilities.
- Organisation and administration of accounts assigned to ensure deadlines are met internally and externally
- Liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis to progress tactics and programme deliverables, building relationships with the key client contacts
- Developing and maintaining internal action lists and status reports for both the internal and client needs
- Creating timelines and project plans for accounts and ensuring key milestones are met
- Work effectively with the editorial and design teams, scheduling in work as appropriate ensuring client timelines are met
- Main point of contact for external suppliers, ensuring a professional working relationship is created and maintained from kick off to completion
- Ensuring effective communication with internal team to enable timely discussion of issues that may impact on ability to deliver high quality work on budget
