Role Overview: The company is seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join their growing sales team, focusing on the mid-market segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling accounts payable software solutions into multiple industries, engaging primarily with CFOs and other finance executives. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a background in selling financial solutions or software directly to C-suite individuals.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – MID-MARKET (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SOFTWARE) – REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, specifically selling accounts payable software or financial solutions to C-suite executives.
  • Experience selling into the mid-market segment with a focus on finance departments or the office of the CFO.
  • Strong understanding of the accounts payable process and the challenges faced by finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals effectively.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with a strong desire to exceed targets.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage mid-market prospects, building a strong pipeline of potential clients within the office of the CFO.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s solutions and effectively communicate value propositions to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, establishing oneself as a trusted advisor in the financial solutions space.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that address client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage pricing discussions to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and forecast data within the CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts to identify new sales opportunities.
