JOB SUMMARY

Account executive play a key role in our growth and are tasked with rapid business expansion within their assigned accounts responsible for growth health and future prospects of account relationships AE will be working under Client Partner and BU head and responsible for overall account P&L and client relationships at RFP stage. This role requires CxO level relationship building and executive connects as well as a focus on revenues operating margin

Responsibilities:

Acts as an independent technical authority (accountable to the Client Partner and Head of BU) to critique and challenge existing delivery practices (across all current services) in order to ensure alignment with industry best practice and ensure processes are integrated robust and leveraging technology (automation) as part of a continuous drive for delivery excellence. Engages with client CTO or CIO to bring coaching thought leadership and technology perspectives which have an impact on the client business. Demonstrate thinking to highlight major disruption (through technology enablement) and changes to the technical architecture that transforms the clients IT landscape and has true business value. Builds relationships with senior client stakeholders to create trusted advisor status and ensure the client pro-actively seeks Cognizant CMT CTO views prior to key IT strategy architecture decisions this encompasses application and infra layers. Connect with our client stakeholders (IT and business) to understand and technically translate where the client wants to go (business direction enabled by technology) and work with the account team and wider teams in order to orchestrate to make that vision a reality. Drive innovation in the technology space (with the client or internally with ISG). Evaluates new technology products or services to assess the relevance for our client and pro actively makes recommendations for implementing solutions (including leveraging nascent technology) to drive benefits at both a business and IT level. Works with partners (AWS Salesforce) to develop CMT specific frameworks and solutions to jointly take to market. Works with the client account team to provide insight regarding new technologies and ways of working in order to ensure the team (as a whole) are equipped to have meaningful interaction with the client stakeholders.
