We work alongside our partners to ensure that surplus items – whether seasonal, overstocked, or nearing expiration — end up on dinner tables, not in the landfill.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential grocery retail partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific challenges and opportunities of potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each prospect’s needs.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
