Overview:
We are looking to recruit an Account Handler to complement our growing mid-corporate team based out of our Exeter office.
Our Exeter branch is a vibrant, fast-paced, high-energy office composed of ambitious, like-minded, and experienced professionals who are keen to support your progression and growth within the Gallagher business!
As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for portfolio management, renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and handling client queries. This role requires working across multiple sectors and multiple lines of business, providing an exciting and diverse work environment.
Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively and efficiently
- Handle policy renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Process mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and policy endorsements as required
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge
- Assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies
- Provide support to the Account Executives and other team members as needed
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance industry, would be ideal
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner
- Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to succeed
- Ambitious and eager to learn and grow within the organisation
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct
- Eligible to work in the UK
