Description:

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in account management within the technology solutions sector;
  • Demonstrated success in corporate sales across Enterprise, Commercial and SMB customer segments;
  • Ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and consistently meet or exceed sales targets;
  • Strong understanding of the procurement cycle (quoting, purchase orders, backorders and invoicing);
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate, present and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives;
  • Familiar with selling technology solutions as required by the business. For example, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.;
  • Knowledge of bid pricing and opportunity registration process;
  • Ability to justify and walk through designed solutions for addressing clients IT needs;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Computer Science or a related discipline

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Full-Time
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities within your assigned portfolio of clients. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to provide comprehensive sales support and ensure the timely delivery of our solutions and managed services according to your clients’ needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs and challenges;
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor to key accounts and customer stakeholders by providing expert sales support and tailored solutions;
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and managed services according to client requirements and expectations;
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align account management practices with broader company goals;
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional solutions within your existing client portfolio;
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed;
  • Create and present sales proposals;
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems;
  • Complete sales training and certification as required;
  • Documentation and reporting as required;
  • Travelling as required.
