JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the VP of US Property Tax, The Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships, understanding needs and satisfying needs for key accounts that have a regional or national portfolio.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Property tax experience required (real property/real estate)
  • Familiarity with property tax budgeting, forecasting & accruals
  • Experience with property tax software preferred (e.g. itamlink, OPT, PTMS)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills - written, oral, reporting, diagrams and presentations
  • Property tax experience required (real property/real estate)
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting & accruals

Responsibilities:

  • Managing engagements and maintaining client relationships
  • Supervising day-to-day tasks that ensure successful completion of engagements (assessment appeals, tax bill payment, etc.)
  • Reviewing analysts’ and consultants’ work product and developing analysts’ and consultants’ skillset
  • Data analysis and tax research
  • Working with state and local officials and negotiating property tax matters.
  • Building client relationships and professional networks through regular contact with partners, clients, prospective clients, and state and local tax officials
  • Developing property tax skillset through participation in continuing education events
  • Participating in practice development by identifying and implementing process improvements, in addition to identifying and capitalizing on market trends
  • Supporting business development activities by acting as subject matter expert to aid in the sales process
