BagTrans is a national transport service provider offering transport services to a high profile FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Food manufacturing customer base. BagTrans is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team located at Altona, VIC. Collaboratively working with a dynamic management team who prioritises offering quality service and culture, opportunities for growth.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A professional, highly motivated, and experienced Account Manager to maintain and grow our existing client base – with a customer first and growth third party transport environment.
- An experienced and credible operator with a “values” driven approach and an excellent ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in VIC.
- Exceptional written, verbal and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Office 365
- CRM focused.
- A positive “One-Team” attitude.
Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager your primary role is to support, strengthen and develop relationships with our B2B customers to define and enhance business opportunities. Key responsibilities consist of, however are not limited to:
- Reporting directly to General Manager - Sales.
- Maintaining professional customer relationship with pro-active account management of existing customers.
- Actively promote the company’s services to existing customers.
- Act as the management interface between the respective customer and BagTrans Operational management personnel.
- Efficiently and effectively deal with escalated operational issues.
- Develop, present and secure annual rise and fall rate reviews with each customer.
- Analyse customer freight profiles and provide all stakeholders with insightful improvement opportunities.
- Review “Share of Wallet” opportunities within existing customers.
