Your Role

This role requires a dynamic and strategic professional with a passion for driving business growth and building lasting client relationships in the Dairy applications sector.

  • Grow Symrise business in the area of Dairy and Sweet applications, with designated key and strategic accounts by managing top and bottom line.
  • Proactively manage and grow the portfolio of key and strategic accounts, predominantly based in Germany, ensuring strong client relationships and long-term partnerships.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Develop comprehensive Customer Development Plans to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to both internal teams and clients, showcasing Symrise’s capabilities and solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and ensure timely follow-up on submissions and proposals.
  • Gather and utilize client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate Account teams in support of customer needs and priorities, ensuring the most efficient management of Symrise resources.
  • Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production.
  • Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines, manage credit, rebates and budget etc. for accounts.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Close cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as being the main point of contact for customers.
  • Implement new business and projects for customers, by managing expectations and directing resources to the most appropriate area.
  • Project Management skills, identifying opportunities based on feedback from clients and their needs.
  • Comply with all appropriate Symrise and statutory ESG and regulatory guideline.
