THE JOB / ACCOUNT MANAGER, CLIENT SERVICES (HOME IMPROVEMENT CLIENT)

  • CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client programs.
    *Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT. The priority location for this role is Atlanta, GA, but the location of this position can be flexible for an Octagon office location (Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, or Stamford, CT) located within either the Eastern or Central Time Zone, with priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in office) in one of these aforementioned office locations.*
    We are looking for an Account Manager to manage the client’s Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Drive, College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium and US Soccer partnerships. This position involves, but is not limited to, strategy, creative development and execution, day-to-day client/partner management, activation budget planning / management, hospitality, experiential activation, and overall oversight of partner programming. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, able to multitask, and works independently. This position requires excellent communication and time management skills, acute attention to detail, and client management. The Account Manager will work closely with the Account Director who oversees each of the client’s Atlanta based partnerships day-to-day, as well as with key partners from the client team, agency, and internal Octagon teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the Home Improvement account team
  • Lead and develop planning initiatives to leverage partnership assets and support client business objectives
  • Manage creative concept development and execution with internal cross-functional teams including trafficking materials
  • Identify and manage outside vendors associated with executing overall programming
  • Manage budgets and finances related to programs
  • Manage several projects simultaneously using established project management processes
  • Provide on-site hospitality needs as necessary, as well as management of on-site staff
  • Prepare formal documentation for projects including project management trackers, timelines, sell-in decks, agency POVs, program overviews, recap summaries, etc.
  • Other related duties as reasonably assigned
