Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our corporate and enterprise customers, building long-term relationships that drive customer retention and open up new business opportunities. Your main focus will be on increasing revenue and contracted margin to contribute to overall profit and EBITDA growth.
In this role, you will identify customer needs and match them with our portfolio of Managed Services, offering tailored solutions that are both cost-effective and profitable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS:Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing Digital Space customers and partners, driving organic growth.
  • CUSTOMER ADVOCACY:Understand the customer’s IT strategy and represent their interests within Digital Space, ensuring their needs are met.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:Proactively engage with customers at all levels, across multiple departments, to explore new business opportunities and maximise account potential.
  • REVENUE GROWTH:Maintain and grow customer revenue and margin in line with your sales targets, helping to drive the company’s financial success.
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and support.
  • CRM MANAGEMENT:Keep Salesforce and other internal CRM systems up to date with accurate data, including opportunities, contacts, account plans, and customer insights.
  • REPORTING & FORECASTING:Regularly provide progress updates to your management team, attending weekly forecasting meetings and strategy calls, as well as quarterly 1-to-1 reviews.
  • COLLABORATION:Work closely with internal Digital Space teams (service, operations, project management, and commercial) to address customer challenges and deliver high-quality, profitable solutions.
  • SALES METHODOLOGY:Utilise internal resources to manage bids, RFPs, and sales documentation, ensuring a professional and methodical approach to all sales activities.
  • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:Collaborate with customer-facing teams to monitor and improve customer satisfaction, providing regular feedback and updates.
