Description:

DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met. Based in Brisbane, the role will work within a team led by the Director of Client Service and Delivery | Property & Casualty.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Insurance broking/industry experience of at least 5 annual business cycles.
  • Excellent technical skills in coverage and wording review.
  • Understanding and technical proficiency in claims management processes.
  • Experience with the placement and servicing of complex and multinational clients.
  • Intermediate proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both on an individual and small-group basis.
  • Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior-level client relationships, with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Qualifications in accordance with the Financial Services Reform Act (minimum Tier 1 Broking Compliance).
  • Preferably degree-qualified in any discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and review client service strategies with multiple-tier client contacts.
  • Obtain annual formal client feedback.
  • Leverage best practices from across WTW to deploy within the business.
  • Ensure all sales processes comply with the WTW Excellence Model and local regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to the Client Excellence Model (CEM) and WCS principles.
  • Represent the voice of the client both internally and within teams when decisions are made regarding processes, approaches, and future strategies.
  • Ensure that settlements, client cash allocations, and credit management fall within agreed parameters.
  • Ensure that every client has an agreed service plan and that client advocates implement every aspect of the plan.
  • Actively participate in new business activity/prospecting and help build out growth propositions.
  • Explore all cross-selling opportunities, for example, Employee Benefits, Construction, Workplace Risk, Risk & Analytics, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Financial & Executive Risks (FINEX).
  • Undertake professional development.
  • Ensure strong relationships are maintained with insurers.
  • Work with WTW Placement, including hubs in London and Singapore.
  • Utilize WTW product platforms.
