Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team at IFF. As an Account Manager, you will develop, implement & execute the sales strategy within your area of responsibility in order to grow and develop business opportunities in the Dairy, Ice Cream, and Infant Nutrition industry in Northern Europe.
The position:
As an Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage allocated accounts to drive growth, to identify and implement synergy opportunities, leveraging of key IFF capabilities
- Manage customer activities and create opportunities according to the industry growth plan and customer needs, hereunder also participate in trade shows, innovation days and other industry relevant activities
- Foster and maintain client relationships to increase the awareness and corporate identity of IFF as the leading supplier of food ingredients and solutions
- Directly accountable for the revenue and contribution profit for allocated accounts
- Actively coordinate and collaborate with other IFF sales teams’ members operating within the same category (cross region activities)
- Actively coordinate and collaborate with other IFF colleagues (IC&D, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Customer Service, Tech Info ao.) operating within the area of responsibilities
- Responsible for actively engaging in creating and implementing the category growth plan for the Dairy, Ice Cream, and Infant Nutrition categories in Northern Europe and deliver upon this.
- In front of customers, actively support and promote the cross-divisional IFF product offering
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree related to dairy or food technology, with 3-5 years of related sales experience in the food ingredients industry
- 3 years of sales experience in areas of account management, developing strategic accounts, and identifying sales potentials
- Knowledge of integrated sales-related customer management systems and other business management systems
- Good command of English
