DATA CENTRE ACCOUNT MANAGER UK&I

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join our European Infrastructure Sales Team as a Data Centre Account Manager located in or around London, UK.
BUSINESS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 5+ years experience in sales, business development or account management within the technology industry.
- Knowledge of ICT infrastructure and Data Centre buying behaviors.
- Proven ability to close deals with new accounts & increasing wallet share with existing accounts.
- Proven ability to manage, grow and nurture large accounts. Skilled in planning and communicating plans to ensure successful execution.
- Ability to create a value proposition based on customer needs and identified gaps.
- Strong knowledge of ICT, and/or other technologies related to building infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
- Ideally based in or around London you will work with the regional sales leadership to identify, engage and build a position of influence with a defined list of multi-tenant Data Centre operators.
- Work with the regional sales leadership to identify and build a plan to secure significant major enterprise Data Centre opportunities to be agreed as target pursuits.
- Drive interaction with the whole Data Centre ecosystem in the territory. Work to understand and build relationships with key consultants, contractors, integrators, and other vendors. Become a member of the Data Centre community.
- Represent COMMSCOPE at Data Centre customer forums and events. Be an active contributor to social media platforms with presence in Data Centre specific groups.
- Collaborate with other COMMSCOPE groups working in the Data Centre space, including the global scale Data Centre team and market management groups.
- Maintain and manage an opportunity funnel along with ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting to regional leadership.
