The Account Manager is responsible for understanding their clients’ business/brand, consumers, and industry/category. They manage all stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and media partners. The role requires effective information sharing, expectation management, and accountability for the team’s performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for assigned clients.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee client campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Relationship Management: Create and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to build trust.
  • Performance Reporting: Craft reports on client campaign performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in team outputs, including content, formatting, fonts, templates, language, and grammar.
  • Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients to address any management queries or concerns.
  • Escalation Management: Know when to escalate issues to ensure clients have the best experience with our network and products.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry and media/marketing trends.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and foster strong relationships with media partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in account management.
  • Knowledge: Excellent understanding of best practices, media strategy, and account management.
