Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with solid PR and communications experience, and is able to lead day-to-day management of accounts, consistently demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills and can articulate their point of view with confidence and gravitas. The Account Manager role requires a candidate to work with the team to:

  • Deliver on brand building plans and proactive storytelling with the integrated team ranging from launching new stores, to promoting social impact and sustainability work, to evaluating and assessing brand risk for campaign work for a global brand in the beverage industry.
  • Handle varied and complex media enquiries at an EMEA level including issues, working collaboratively with the internal team and experts at Edelman, with an underlying objective to protect brand reputation.
  • Provide proactive and regular counsel on the media agenda, the landscape pertaining to key issues and business priorities and new approaches or ideas that will help meet the client’s broader objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide counsel to help our clients develop media and external stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Work alongside specialist teams and build client-centric support network to address client challenges and opportunities and drive workflow
  • Develop integrated earned media campaigns that gain attention
  • Management and talent development of junior team members
  • Rigorous review and quality control of Edelman product offerings including day to day recommendations, reporting and insight
  • Coordinate with affiliate agencies and international client stakeholders
  • Develop and manage workback plans and uphold project timelines
  • Lead on client presentations, plans and proposals
