Description:

Specific Job Function:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels of the Water Filtration Market (OEMs, Wholesale Distribution). The position will sell our industry-leading water filtration products to global accounts, partnering with the Sales and Production team to maintain and grow business within an established territory. Your primary objective will be to embed yourself within all levels of a customer’s organization, understand customer needs, specify solutions and products for development, generate leads, qualify opportunities, identify gaps, and resolving issues to meet and exceed revenue targets and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global customer base to increase revenue.
  • Partner with sales support to ensure that all customer orders are promptly received and entered into the ERP.
  • Seeks business expansion opportunities with current clients and pursues relationships with potential new accounts.
  • Has detailed knowledge of products and services being offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet or exceed client needs.
  • Identify sales growth opportunities for both existing customers as well as new customers, then develop and executes a plan to deliver those sales.
  • Visits client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
  • Promptly provides sales quotations through CRM and responds to incoming
  • Works closely with the Global Director of sales to refine and implement specific account strategies and plans in collaboration with the Sales Team’s strategies.
  • Alerts and works with Quality on any issues that arise and provides timely updates to and manages the interface with the customer, escalating when appropriate both to customer and within Omnipure, to resolve issues.
  • Provide sales forecast and budget information to Sales Director.
  • Assists Market Development Team in transitioning new accounts for long term growth & account management.
  • Captures key notes and information within Salesforce CRM.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals as identified in Strategy Development Process.
  • Work with marketing team to develop materials to drive business and brand awareness.
  • Effectively manage the sales process using Salesforce and other available tools.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of water treatment product lines, markets, and technologies
  • CRM or Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Understanding of channel dynamics, relationships within the dealers, distributors and national accounts servicing the water filtration and treatment industry

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated unwavering ethical character while managing challenging business deals.
  • Ability to influence, build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point or Access)
  • Must have account management experience (5+ years) and a proven track record for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong Emotional & Cultural Intelligence
  • Demonstrates great levels of accountability, organization and problem solving
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
