Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Finance and Mercantile Services team based at our branch based in Altona, VIC. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm! In this role your key responsibilities would include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors at various levels.
  • Agree and drive volume targets and sales strategies to maximise returns.
  • Resolve all vendor disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide reporting as required, including contracted KPI’s and SLA’s, market performance, plus key insights specific for vendors via internal systems.
  • Assist with managing the vendors stock by ensuring assets are funneled through the process in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that every asset is disposed of with the primary objective of maximising the vendor’s returns through selection of the appropriate sales channel and ensuring optimal vehicle condition.
  • Assist Account Managers and Administration Support to effectively manage all customer relationships, ensuring KPI’s are met and reported.
  • Assisting external teams as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in the banking and finance sector, including but not limited, to repossession and disposal activity.
  • Proven account management experience.
  • Experience in building strong trusted relationships with vendors and all key stakeholders.
  • The ability to think creatively, explore new opportunities, and promote diversity of thought in discussions to ensure a collaborative approach to problem solving across the team.
  • Able to work well in a team and can thrive within a flexible environment
