Description:

Account Manager – Fully Connected
Our Exhibitions Venue Services team have a brand new opportunity for a strong Account Manager to drive sales of the Fully Connected (full service) proposition to Exhibition and Convention organisers.
The NEC Group’s Full Service proposition has been successfully piloted over the last 12 months. A super exciting opportunity, this role will be fundamental to cementing the NEC Group’s sales and delivery capabilities and enabling us to target and secure larger, more profitable Full Service contracts.
You will ensure we are operating an effective sales process that maximises the profitable delivery of our Fully Connect proposition and help implement the Fully Connected growth strategy by delivering against sales targets.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a strong and capable sales individual, with experience of delivering to a business and sales strategy.
  • Have a proven track record in achieving success in a similar industry or selling environment. Ideally they will have a demonstrable understanding / experience of a general service contracting (or similar) proposition.
  • Have a proven track record in recognising and developing new opportunities in a commercial business environment.
  • Have strong selling and negotiation skills, gained in a commercial environment. And have sound commercial understanding.
  • Be proactive, dynamic and forward thinking, with the ability maximise opportunities and revenue.
  • Be highly motivated by the opportunity to develop additional revenue streams and creative in problem solving.
