Description:

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level and Technology leaders in the Software and Services industry.
  • 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
  • Understanding of Go to Market plans

    The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Malaysia team is looking for a Account Manager (AM) that can manage the working relationship withSoftware Companies who are either modernising leveraging Cloud technology or have the need to modernise to offer SaaS and BYOL services for the future. This role will work as one with customer organizations, develop a long term account strategy and execute that strategy within those accounts. Our AWS ISV AM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of account development, sales planning, and customer coverage on behalf of AWS.

Key job responsibilities

  • Act as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations
  • Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio
  • Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition
  • Coaching Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficient.
  • Development of long term Cloud Strategy for customers
  • Identify & develop specific opportunities to drive account growth for AWS
  • Deal shaping, including Contract negotiations & closing
  • Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery
