We are currently looking for a new member for the Leasing team to join us in the position of Account Manager, Mall Activation.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra’s Central Offices in Germany

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the entire spectrum of our Mall- and Pop-up letting processes (from acquisition to the final letting).
  • You analyze the market´s potential and develop innovative letting strategies & concepts for our Shopping-Centres in Germany, manage the economic and creative Mall- and Pop-up letting process.
  • You work close and in cooperation with our Leasing - and Centre Management Teams, our Legal and our Marketing Department.
  • You report to the Leasing Country Manager.
  • You help to increase our existing network, our number of contacts and be ahead in finding new brands and possibilities of new mall lettings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive development and implementation of individual letting concepts for various shopping centres, considering the tenant mix
  • Development of leasing strategies considering current sector and competition analyses (trends, new concepts and retailers, etc.)
  • Implement and negotiate new business opportunities in the Mall Activation area
  • Commercialize Mall Activation opportunities in the Shopping Centres, increasing the cross-selling fees per customer
  • Develop promotional sales strategies that allow the optimization of revenue in off peak periods
  • Expanding and strengthening sustainable relationships with our national and international tenants
  • Managing customer relationships and building and expanding your network
  • Prospect the market, send and negotiate commercial proposals and assure the implementation of administrative processes for key clients
  • Conducting contract negotiations with local and international tenants
  • Elaborate short term contracts using specific templates for that effect
  • Analysing the structural development of tenants (turnover, sector mix, etc.);
  • Register and report all actions and activities related to your work in our CRM System (Salesforce)
  • Define the business priorities and Budgets with the Centre Management Teams and collaborate with them in implementing the respective commercial strategy
  • Support the commercial processes in the various business platforms;
  • Collaborate with the Shopping Centre’ teams for the appropriate implementation of procedures and tools of Mall Activation
  • Incorporate new and promising products that can add local and global value
  • Ensure the continuously contact of new operators to bring new business ideas to the Shopping Centres that add value to the business
  • Enhance the pool of clients and activities across countries to maximize income
  • Fine-tuning product prices according to markets, SC spaces and to operator’s capacity to pay
