Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced_ Account Manager to join our dynamic full-service marketing agency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of marketing strategies, digital campaigns, and client relationship management. You’ll play a critical role in developing and executing high-level, proactive strategies, managing client expectations, and ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and our clients. Your ability to deliver on strategic goals and act as a trusted advisor to our clients will be key to driving both customer success and agency growth._
Key Responsibilities: Client Strategy and Management
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals and objectives, focusing on driving measurable business results.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering long-term relationships built on trust, transparency, and exceptional service.
- Client Advocacy: Understand the client’s industry, market, and competitive environment to offer proactive solutions that drive business success.
- Presenting and Reporting: Lead presentations to clients, offering data-driven insights and recommendations. Ensure regular reporting on key performance metrics (KPI) and campaign results.
Inbound Marketing
- Inbound Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of inbound marketing strategies focused on attracting, engaging, and converting leads through content-driven campaigns.
- Lead Nurturing: Oversee the development of email marketing campaigns, workflows, and lead nurturing strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel effectively.
- Content Marketing: Collaborate with content teams to ensure blog posts, eBooks, whitepapers, and other marketing assets are aligned with inbound strategies and designed to attract targeted audiences.
- Conversion Optimization: Develop and optimize landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead magnets to increase conversions and capture high-quality leads.
- Marketing Automation: Manage and optimize client campaigns using marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) to streamline lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing processes.
Digital Marketing Expertise
- Digital Campaigns: Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure seamless integration of digital and traditional marketing efforts to optimize ROI and brand consistency.
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging platforms, and tools that can help improve client campaigns and elevate digital performance.
Project Management
- Campaign Oversight: Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Internal Team Collaboration: Work closely with creative, digital, and content teams to ensure campaign strategies are aligned and executed effectively.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges proactively, providing solutions to optimize campaign performance or meet shifting client demands.
Account Growth and Upselling
- Upsell Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand client relationships by introducing new services, products, or marketing solutions.
- Client Retention: Drive client satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional value and insights that support their business growth.
- Revenue Management: Support agency revenue growth by managing and increasing client budgets, ensuring account profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in account management within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency setting.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of multi-channel digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate client business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and solutions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and results to C-level executives and stakeholders. This includes the ability to handle urgent or emergency situations after hours.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering on time and within budget.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret marketing data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for campaign optimization.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in a marketing agency or with clients in sectors such as technology, e-commerce, healthcare, or B2B.
- Inbound Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in creating and executing inbound marketing campaigns, driving lead generation and customer engagement.
- Marketing Automation Platforms: Proficiency in using marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or SharpSpring for managing inbound campaigns and nurturing leads.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Experience in developing inbound funnels that convert visitors into leads and leads into customers through strategic content and automated workflows.
- HubSpot or Inbound Certifications: HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification or similar qualifications preferred.
- Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other relevant digital marketing certifications are required within 60 days if not already completed.
