Position Overview:
MillerKnoll is seeking an Architecture & Design Account Manager who will play a critical role in supporting Strategic Relationship Executives (SREs) and Ancillary Relationship Executives (AREs), fostering relationships with small to mid-sized design firms, and acting as a key liaison between clients and our manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and possess the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Client Support
  • Partner with SREs and AREs to deliver exceptional service to key accounts.
  • Conduct showroom tours, offering an in-depth understanding of our products and solutions.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication between clients and the factory.
  • Develop and prepare client presentations
  • Project Management & Sample Coordination
  • Provide material samples to clients as requested, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support project work by coordinating between the client, internal teams, and dealers.
  • RFPs & Business Reviews
  • Participate in the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, providing necessary information and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing business reviews for clients, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Strategic Planning & Client Tools
  • Utilize client toolsets to contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal team and dealers to develop and implement strategies that align with their project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in an account management, project management, or design role within the architecture and design industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the architecture and design process, including material specification, project work, and RFPs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage client expectations.
  • Experience using client toolsets for strategic planning is a plus.
  • Experience in the contract furniture industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with MillerKnoll products and solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel, Work and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign preferred

A starting compensation range for this role is $88,600.00 - $111,750.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
