REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in food service sales or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Good understanding of the UK food service and hospitality market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid IT skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting the commercial team.
- Full UK driving licence - Confident to travel for customer visits and commercial events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with wholesalers, food distributors, or hospitality clients.
- Knowledge of fresh produce, catering supplies, or seasonal food products.
- A genuine passion for food and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with clients, providing outstanding service and support.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and share insights to guide client decisions.
- Operational and Administrative Duties: Coordinate effectively with the wider commercial team to ensure smooth operations and successful project outcomes.
