REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in food service sales or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Good understanding of the UK food service and hospitality market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid IT skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting the commercial team.
  • Full UK driving licence - Confident to travel for customer visits and commercial events.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with wholesalers, food distributors, or hospitality clients.
  • Knowledge of fresh produce, catering supplies, or seasonal food products.
  • A genuine passion for food and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with clients, providing outstanding service and support.
  • Product Knowledge and Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and share insights to guide client decisions.
  • Operational and Administrative Duties: Coordinate effectively with the wider commercial team to ensure smooth operations and successful project outcomes.
