We’re now after an experienced sales professional to join us in an Account Manager position based near Auburn/Parramatta covering the wider New South Wales area.

Responsibilities:
You’ll spend your time partnering with our distributor network, helping to train them and build their knowledge and ensuring they have the support they need to be able to successfully sell our products. You’ll also review their customer needs and ensure that our products are fit for purpose and match what they are looking for.
As well as helping our distributors, you will build and maintain relationships in facility settings such as hospitals and aged care and will work on growing your customer and client base, developing sound relationships to ensure that our products are always top of mind.
Taking care of our customers is really important to us at Invacare, so you’ll provide them great service by assisting with customer queries or concerns, providing quotes and following up on outstanding orders. You will also assist with coordinating customer equipment trials and demonstrations.
About you
You’ll bring B2B sales experience, knowledge and experience in key account/channel management and will have a proven track record in building, developing and growing relationships across the healthcare sector. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a similar medical sales role and can bring an understanding of the inner workings of complex healthcare environments.
Our teams move around a bit, so you’ll bring the ability to travel (up to 50% away from home) and will have fantastic time and calendar management to ensure you’re making the most of each day. You’ll have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and have a positive outlook, fantastic attitude and an empathetic ear.
You’ll also have:
- Excellent computer skills across the MS Office Suite, and knowledge of systems such as JD Edwards / SAP, Jira or similar desirable
- Attention to the smaller detail
- The ability to be adaptable to varied situations and requirements
- A background in fields such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Engineering, this is desirable however not essential
