Description:
Microsoft Advertising empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through paid search engine marketing, native and retail solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Account Managers with digital paid media advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase client satisfaction by owning the day-to-day client management and driving campaign-level budget upsell and optimization opportunities that align to ROI goals of client and drive incremental revenue.
As an Account Manager (AM), you will enable Microsoft to better serve clients by applying obsession with what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and building and maintaining strong trusted-advisor relationships with day-to-day practitioner contacts at advertiser/agency. You will drive both revenue and client satisfaction across MSA’s performance solutions and as a core member of the account team, this opportunity will allow you to focus on driving data-driven optimizations aligned with client needs, executing campaigns and driving strong coordination or internal resources for excellence in execution of core tasks, account transitions, and client account health. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% away from the office.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
- OR Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND relevant work experience (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on digital advertising).
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in commercial environments and demonstrated ability to manage and maintain client relationships effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience in search, display, and/or programmatic advertising.Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management.
- Skilled in using data to influence through engaging presentations and clear written communications.
- Technology Passion: Enthusiasm for technology as a driver of client and company growth.
- Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity, communications skills and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to understand client needs and deliver customized, data-driven, client-focused pitches and solutions.
- Curiosity about the evolving advertising industry.

Responsibilities:
- Leverage customer engagement strategies to build solid relationships with clients. Act as a subject matter expert on industry and competitive knowledge that includes current and emerging trends.
- Own the day-to-day management for newly onboarded & existing clients, execute of
- Pursue optimizations to deliver quota expectations, drive campaign-level budget upsell and optimization opportunities that align to ROI goals of the client and drive incremental revenue, and leverage internal insights and tool-directed tactics to inform and prioritize upsells and optimisations, seeking to drive swift implementation.
- Be a fluent advocate of the Microsoft Advertising, educate clients on how the Microsoft Advertising platform and existing features help them to reach their business goals and execute on budgets, ensure regular client engagement with the Microsoft Advertising platform, and aim to reduce client reliance on AM for routine tasks. Utilize all available readiness and insights to ensure fluent advocacy of the Microsoft Advertising and One Microsoft story.
- Ensure timely and proactive management of client escalations by effectively leveraging Account Executive and internal partner network to resolve day-to-day technical and account escalations and revenue blockers and partner with account team to submit actionable feedback on product, tools and processes through relevant channels.
- Continually strengthen Microsoft Advertising and Digital Media Industry expertise, take personal accountability for career and personal development.
