About Churchill, A Division of Patriot Growth Insurance Services: Churchill is one of the premier risk management consultants and insurance brokers in California. Our team of advisors help clients manage their risks in workers’ compensation, group employee benefits, property and casualty, and other areas of specialized exposure.
Position Overview: The primary function of this position is to provide quality service to clients. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company, agent, and their clients. Daily servicing of clients will include addressing various coverage issues and handling all the inside service work associated with the clients account, including all endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewals, checking and binding of policies. The only exceptions are bond and claims related items which are handled by those departments.
This is a full-time, remote position. Must have access to high-speed internet and a quiet dedicated workspace.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships through consistent and accurate communication.
  • Educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures; document electronic files in Epic.
  • Process daily mail, phone requests, and handle cancellations, working to save accounts when possible.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, applications, and providing technical support to producers.
  • Manage client files in Epic, ensuring accurate and consistent documentation.
  • Order, issue, and verify accuracy of binders, certificates, policies, and endorsements.
  • Review policy audits for accuracy and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers.
  • Stay updated on industry information and new products; set priorities for efficient transaction processing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5 or more years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager/Executive.
  • Active California Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment.
  • Understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, coverage & rate analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload.
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products.
  • A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
