Summary
As a SFG20 Account Manager you’ll build strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring they maximise the value of our product. This prestigious role focuses on retention and migration, guiding clients through seamless transitions to our newest product FiQ and identifying upsell and renewal opportunities. Your expertise will be key in exceeding expectations through exceptional customer service, software support, and training.
As part of our collaborative team, you’ll primarily work remotely but will visit our offices and attend events to foster strong client relationships. You’ll be target-driven, focusing on high customer retention and increasing client lifetime value by ensuring full use of SFG20 solutions and selling strategic upgrades.

In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Account Management Expertise: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with assigned accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Renewal & Growth Champion: Drive account retention and growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities. Collaborate strategically with internal teams to ensure seamless migration to our latest offerings and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Migration Success Specialist: Lead clients through successful software migrations to our new FiQ solution, ensuring a smooth transition and maximising user adoption alongside our Software trainers.
  • Solution Selling Proficiency: Tailor our innovative solutions to address each client’s specific needs and challenges. Craft compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate and secure winning renewals, maintaining strong customer satisfaction and maximising account profitability.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal teams (Customer Success, Wider sales colleagues (SDR/BDR & KAM), L&D, Marketing, Product Development) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve shared goals.
  • Data-Driven Performance: Utilise CRM systems to track progress, analyse customer data, and develop data-driven account management strategies.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and SFG20’s latest offerings to ensure a competitive advantage for your clients.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B account management role, ideally within the IT SaaS space or Facilities Management technologies/CAFM solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding customer retention and growth targets.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools (e.g., HubSpot etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience:

  • Facilities Management technologies/CAFM solutions experience.
