REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or Equivalent
- 3+ years of experience; preferably with experience gained in a consulting firm or similar industry.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus but not essential
- Prior experience in managing government social media accounts
- Experience in developing social media plans and strategies
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi, or willing to relocate
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The Social Media Account Manager is responsible for developing engaging content to enhance the company’s social media presence. This includes keeping social media channels up-to-date and aligned with the brand, as well as crafting high-level plans and social media strategies. This role is fully seconded to the client site based in Abu Dhabi and involves working with sectors such as aviation, cybersecurity, defence, and others.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages company social media content development for channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and some other platforms
- Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
- Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
- Participates in events
- Works as part of a team to develop large social media strategies and campaigns
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
- Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects on a monthly basis
- Manages social media communications
- Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits
- Develop top-level plans and strategies
- Create monthly reports
