Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Account Processor works to ensure the entry of complete and accurate data as obtained from the Customer Care and Sales Departments and may provide administrative support as needed and be involved in auditing and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook; and
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of contractual agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for new and updated service agreements, addendums, cancellations and address changes in the customer database.
- Verify pricing on service agreements and contracts prior to entry, track seasonal changes, and input and track annual price increases.
- Coordinate with the Sales Department, Credit Department, and operations team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of requested services.
- Prepares credit and debit requests for billed and unbilled charges with documentation as requested by Sales, Credit & Collections, or as a result of one’s own research.
- Attend department meetings.
- Disseminate appropriate information to team members and other departments.
- Collaborate on developing training tools and update materials as needed.
- Collaborate on documenting the workflow process of the department.
- Provide monthly reporting on data entry statistics.
- Assist with database audits and corrections.
- Ensure that all emails and voicemails are responded to within 24 hours.
- Document the creation of Master and Subaccounts and make sure information on these accounts is disseminated to other team members and departments.
- Oversee the purchase order (PO) process.
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by Account Administration Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
