This job is for you!
We’re looking for an Account Representative-Procurement to join our team in the Eastern Ontario territory. The Account Representative-Procurement oversees implementing sales and service strategies for our restaurants, groceries, and industrials account by-products collection service within the assigned territory.
This position requires frequent travel to customer offices and facilities. You should expect to be available for travel 80% of the time.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University/College diploma in Marketing, sales, business management, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, new business, and market development
  • Sales experience in the Food-Industry, restaurant and grocery store an asset.
  • Proven track record in business development and successful innovation
  • Being able to adapt rapidly and willingness to succeed.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful, able to work independently and think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies. Grow our customers database.
  • Adapt a consultative approach to add additional service to suit customer needs. Maintain steady growth through identification of new prospects.
  • Collaborate with key accounts manager team on specific nation-wide partnership already establish.
  • Establish and improve customer relationships with restaurant and grocery store owners.
  • Review our current offer with customers present in your territory to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and improve renewal on an on-going basis.
  • Take responsibility for the volume of business for assigned territory.
  • Create innovative customer service initiatives to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Follow-up with customers or our customer service team on phones, service request emails and other to provide support.
  • Travel to meet customer facilities to enhance understanding of their business needs.
