Description:
Purpose: Monitor, inventory, and verify all data pertaining to the relevant Logistic Information System (LIS) that reports Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 (APS-2) Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) equipment.

Qualification & Experience Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- 2 to 3 years of related work experience with two years with leadership responsibilities. Prior military supply experience (Army MOS: 92Y/920A or equivalent) is a plus.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent.
- Must complete internal APS-2 GCSS-A training within 60 days of hire.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card)
Responsibilities:
- Maintains 100 percent accountability of all assigned APS-2 equipment, ensuring equipment is on-hand and reflected accurately in the relevant LIS.
- Ensures the accurate reporting of all assigned APS-2 equipment in the relevant LIS.
- Serves as the last step in bringing APS-2 equipment to record and identifies frustrated items entering the APS-2 stock.
- Prepares and submits Purchase Request (PR’s) for Lateral Transfers.
- Schedules inventories for Supply Technicians to conduct, and ensures all data entered during inventories are accurate in the corresponding LIS.
- Conducts item research in Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and LIS to include frustrated items.
- Corrects errors in paperwork and/or relevant LIS data and reports all errors promptly to Logistics Manager.
- Conducts inventories and performs quality checks on item serial numbers.
- Able to accurately process Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs) for review and approval.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
