Description:
The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are looking a Accountant - Accounts Payable to join the Finance Team. This role will be instrumental in successfully creating an effective and paperless Account Payable function through next-generation systems, setting The Peninsula London and its Finance Team as the future of hospitality.

Key accountabilities
- Responsible to all aspects of the Peninsula London Accounts Payable, including the reconciliation of invoices vs. purchase orders and received items, the timely weekly and monthly payments of such invoices, the payment reconciliation and the monthly preparation of accruals.
- Cross-trains with the other Senior Accountants to ensure smooth coverage of all functions during holidays.
- Collaborates with the Operations Cost Controller and the Purchasing Manager to all analysis requirements for variable costs, ensuring a high level of details and understanding of expense trends within the property for all departments.
General requirements
- 3 years accounting experience in hospitality-residential environment and supervisory experience
- Understanding of the various Accounting Functions. Extensive experience in Accounts Payable with the ability to manage a complex tax and contractual environment.
- High level of integrity, detail oriented with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
