QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the fashion or retail industry (if relevant).
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting.

Experience:

• Financial Record Management:
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including income, expenses, and assets.
• Update and reconcile the general ledger regularly.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to support decision-making.
• Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Tax Preparation and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns and handle audits if necessary.
• Financial Reporting:
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Internal Controls and Auditing:
• Develop and implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support business strategies.
• Assist other departments with financial queries and decision-making processes.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure the company adheres to all financial and legal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
