Accountant

Ascendo Academy is searching for a talented and meticulous Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our Academy by managing our financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Job Description:

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are accurate
• Prepare financial reports, including general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial stability
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding financial matters
• Stay up-to-date on Singapore accounting regulations FRS and best practices

Minimum Entry Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience with preparing full set of accounts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero and Business Central)
