Global technology consultancy BBGC are looking for a Dubai-based accountant

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of UAE accounting & taxation
• Previous experience experience in an accounting role, ideally in a similar environment
• Strong personal qualities including proactiveness, self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Experience working with CRM and Accounting tools like QuickBooks and Xero
• Excellent communication skills with people from diverse culture and background.
• Curious, motivated, and enthusiastic to learn new technologies and software.
• Team player and collaborative problem solver.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong sense of ownership for project/tasks and responsibility
• Able to work independently when needed.

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and daily accounting operations.
• Ensure timely payments and communicate directly with clients regarding outstanding invoices etc.
• Generate reports for financial analysis, such as accounts receivable aging reports, credit control reports, and other trend analyses.
• Collaborate and provide support across overseas offices & with overseas clients
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end processes
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments as needed
