Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin to handle both administrative and accounting functions within the company. This role will involve managing day-to-day office operations while maintaining accurate financial records to support the overall business efficiency.
Candidates with own visa is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including organizing office supplies, maintaining filing systems, and managing office equipment.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and respond to general inquiries.
- Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Maintain and update office records, employee files, and databases.
- Prepare and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and the accounting principles
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and on time.
- Prepare and issue invoices, purchase orders, and track payments.
- Maintain financial records, update ledgers, and assist with month-end closing.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial reports (Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
- Manage petty cash and assist with financial reporting as required.
- Support the payroll function and ensure timely processing.
Other Duties:
- Assist with preparing tax-related documents and liaise with auditors if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
- Provide general support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar administrative and accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho) and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, office management practices, and financial documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with financial and confidential information.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position (Monday to Saturday)
- Office-based in Dubai, UAE
Experience: At Least 2 years experience in similar position
