Description:

As a professional accountant with several years of work experience you directly reports to the Finance Manager of Fronius Poland. This position requires a close collaboration with the Finance Manager regarding budget planning, monthly closing and reporting as well as work on tax issues and requirement. Furthermore, you will also support the daily accounting with the other accountants.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supports the Head of Finance in all accounting topics
  • Collaboration of annual budget requirements
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly liquidity plans
  • Responsible for allocating and posting current transactions (i.e., general ledger accounting and purchasing invoices)
  • Responsible for analysis and examination of book entries and accounts
  • Calculation of investment decisions and tax consequences
  • Responsible to ensure monthly and annual balance sheets comply with legal requirements and best accounting practices
  • Support to provide reports and information as required to the headquarter
  • Understands the tax consequences and regulations relating to domestic and international transactions.
  • Support in the preparation of all tax returns

Requirements

  • Authorized accountant
  • Minimum 5 years` professional experience in accounting
  • Experience in office management
  • Experience working with ERP systems (BaaN ERP system preferred)
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local financial regulations, regarding taxes and all applicable business financial requirements
  • Advantage of experience working in an international company
  • Working knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • English language skills are required
  • Ability to analyze financial /controlling data, preparing reports and maintaining prescribed standards
