QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and financial planning roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred).

SKILLS:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
• Knowledge of Omani financial regulations and tax laws is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license.
• References: Must provide references from previous employers upon request.
• Travel: Open to traveling for work-related assignments and meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

• Oversee and manage the company’s financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper filing and documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare tax filings, including VAT and corporate tax.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL DUTIES:

• Collaborate with management to assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide recommendations for investment opportunities and risk management.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Assist in setting financial policies and maintaining proper internal controls.
