Description:

Orlando company is looking for an Accountant II. Responsibilities of the Accountant II will include, but not limited to the following.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries.
– Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations.
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
– Assist in the preparation of budget-to-actual reports and variance analyses.
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. GAAP) and relevant regulations.
– Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with both internal and external auditors.
– Utilize accounting software to maintain financial data and generate reports.
– Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial systems.
– Work closely with managers and supervisors to provide financial guidance and support.
– Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective financial operations.
– Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
– Assist in the implementation of new financial policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Analytical problem solving skills.
  • Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
