Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our restaurant team, responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable, handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies specific to the restaurant industry.
Additionally, the Accountant will reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, assist with tax preparation and filing, support auditing activities, and perform financial analysis.
Candidates must be highly organized and analytical, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in the restaurant or hospitality sector.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and restaurant management systems (e.g., Toast, Square for Restaurants) is required, along with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of restaurant financial metrics, inventory management, payroll, and cost control.
