JOB DESCRIPTION

On behalf of our client in Gothenburg we are now looking for a Accountant!
In this role, you will be an integral part of our clients accounting department, taking on various responsibilities that will keep their financial records robust and reliable.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a formal finance education.
• You have good experience in accounting according to K3.
• You have experience in periodic closings.
• You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Experience of accounting in SOX environment a plus.

• General Ledger Management: Perform accurate and timely manual postings to the General Ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal guidelines.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining clear documentation.
• Intercompany Transactions: Handle reconciliation of intercompany transactions to support seamless integration across our global entities.
• VAT Filings: Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Group Reporting Support: Collaborate in the reporting process to Group Accounting, assisting with consolidated reporting requirements and other regular submissions.
• Ad-Hoc Projects and Investigations: Take on ad-hoc tasks and investigative projects within the accounting area, providing insights and solutions as needed.
