We are recruiting to fill the position below:
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the same role.
- ICAN certification is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.
- Good knowledge of Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and budgetary control, Treasury, and General Ledger management.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financial management reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, identify issues, and strategize solutions, and help the organization run efficiently.
- Work with External Auditors by providing necessary account information to ensure that the annual audit exercise is successful.
- Attending to all accounts-related queries from Federal & State tax officers and other Governmental agencies.
- Reconciling all the company’s bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Reconciling customer accounts and managing accounts receivable collections.
- Maintaining the company’s monthly Trial Balances and Financial Accounts.
- Preparation of schedules for statutory remittances (PAYE, Withholding tax, Pension, Company tax, ITF, NSITF).
- Maintaining a complete and accurate Fixed Asset Register for the company.
