Accountant Leader

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Accounting Leader you are a key member of the Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for statutory and group accounting and reporting, and other responsibilities such as coordination of external finance audit and internal corporate audits, participation in company’s projects, processing of selected payments etc.

• Guide the local team in terms of accounting proceduces and principles.
• Implementation of the new statutory accounting rules and principles as well as the rules as per the group requirements.
• Maintain general ledger.
• Process accounting documents and journal entries, incl. sophisticated accounting cases.
• Process payroll related journal entries according to data from HR department.
• Preparation and processing of selected closing activities and journal entries.
• Cooperation with shared service center.
• Balance sheet accounts reconcilation.
• Preparation of Czech VAT tax return and cooperation on foreign VAT tax return preparation.
• Cooperation with the local tax advisor on preparation of the annual corporate income tax return.
• Guide the local team in terms of tax proceduces and principles.
• Coomunication with tax authorities and finance institutions.
