Accountant Lux Gaap

at  Luxembourg Institute of Health

The Lux Gaap Accountant will mainly be responsible for the following tasks: Accounts payable / Expense reports / Customer accounting support / Point of contact with auditors within area of responsibility
The tasks can be subject to change depending on the needs of the department.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

• Higher education in accounting (min. 3 years’ higher education)
• Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in accounting
• Knowledge required of VAT accounting, fixed assets and prepaid expenses.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and principles
• Experience in cost accounting would be an asset
• Mastery of MS Office tools, particularly Excel (advanced level)
• You are autonomous, methodical and rigorous
• You respect deadlines
• You are curious and proactive
• You enjoy working as part of a team and are happy to help your colleagues
• You are flexible, adapting your working hours to suit the needs of the departmentLanguages: fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
