JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within the organization. This role is based in Dubai, UAE.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
  • CPA or ACCA is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting operation with fair knowledge in Record to Report process.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of IFRS.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Work experience mainly relating to Accounts Receivable and Inventory ledger.
  • Satisfactory proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including preparation of financial statements, general ledger analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and other departments, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, local regulations, and internal policies, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
