Description:

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be based in Poznan and will be part of our finance group. You will provide general accounting and analytical support to the finance & accounting office function across a broad range of areas. You will be a member of the local finance team and will work closely with other colleagues whose focus is on local finance. You will also interact with employees and other stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree, preferably in finance
  • 3+ years of finance and accounting experience with knowledge of taxes (e.g. CIT, PIT, VAT) and related processes in a professional service environment
  • Good verbal and written language skills both in Polish and English (B2/C1 - CEFR* or equivalent)
  • Solid MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to tailor messages over the phone or via email, both in Polish and English
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and organizational boundaries
  • Corporate experience

Responsibilities:

You will ensure compliance with Polish accounting and tax/VAT regulations and internal accounting regulations and policies. You will coordinate/own Accounts Payable, Expense Report and Corporate Credit Card processes.
You will also conduct time and expense reports training for employees. You will respond to colleagues’ inquiries on financial policies and tools (e.g., expense reporting tool).
You will prepare reports for local payroll team, coordinate Fixed Asset and balance sheet reconciliation processes. You will participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
You will coordinate documents collection in accordance with local requirement and perform other tasks as may be requested by management.
