Description:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee and manage general ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status for management.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Support external and internal audit processes.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
