Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development and implementation of budgetary and accounting policies.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements for boards of directors, management,
shareholders, and statutory bodies.
- Conduct financial investigations and audits, and prepare detailed reports on areas including
mergers, acquisitions, taxation, fraud, insolvency, and capital financing.
- Analyze operating costs, income, and expenditure to provide meaningful financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by preparing accurate financial reports and conducting audits.
- Prepare taxation returns for both individuals and organizations.
- Collaborate with financial institutions to establish and manage effective funding
arrangements.
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems, providing advice on system selection and application.
- Oversee and maintain robust internal control systems.
- Assess cash flow and financial risks associated with capital investment projects.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, taxation, and accounting systems for at least 1 year.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of compliance and statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a tea
